There are very few digital cameras on the market with a built in GPS so here's a few methods for getting GPS data and attaching it to your photos for use with the
flash photoblog world map.
maporama.com

If you have no GPS or track log available then
maporama.com is the easiest way to find the decimal latitude and longitude of a location. Simple search for an address, move the target to the location of your photo and then copy and pate the decimal latitude and longitude from the "Information" panel. Make sure you use the lower decimal pair.
wwmx location stamper

The
WWMX location stamper freeware application is probably the best way to tag your photos even if you don't have a GPS track log to feed in. You can either drag and drop your photos on to a zoomable world map which will then write the location to the photo's EXIF headers. You can then use the PHP script included in the
flash photoblog world map to read the latitude and longitude from your photos as you send them to your website.
If you have a GPS then you can load the track log into the location stamper and it will do it's best to match each photo to a location using the timestamp from the photo.
geko 201

Looking for a cheap and small GPS to use for GPS photography? I'm using the
geko 201 at the moment and it's fantastic. Very small with a huge track log memory. You can find them on the web for around US $100.
